One of the scenic outlooks at High Rocks. 
Stover has some great technical trails and awesome views of the Tohickon Creek.Wet rocks and roots next to sheer cliffs can add some “OH SHIT” moments. 
A little dusting of snow made the ride even more scenic… 
…but my feet and fingers started feeling the 30º temps – even with the high-tech Walmart plastic bag shoe liners, and JT (non-insulated) MX gloves. 
Unfortunately, the cliffs at Stover have seen tragedy on numerous occasions. 
The flurries continued and I decided to head back to the truck – until I found some more trails. 
The cold temps froze my Rock Shox Reverb dropper post in the lowest position so climbing was a little less fun. 
It might not be an epic amount of miles but log-overs, off-cambers, rocks and roots keep it fun. There are even a few small rock drops to get your freeride on.
